Messy Bao is an independent creative in the UK alternative hip-hop scene. Beginning their discography collaborating with Saint Nusu for their debut album Messy Nusu. Bao's production fuses boom-bap, abstract hip-hop, Motown, and soul, implementing hard hitting but groove-led drums and soulfully chopped samples.
Messy Bao's DJ sets seamlessly fuse their own production with both modern and classic hip hop tracks. Always responding to the energy of the crowd and expanding their repertoire of tracks, Bao's DJ sets can be explosive and vibrant, or chilled and laid-back.
